The 1830 Madison County, Tennessee census for Blaney Stanley shows Blaney and Ann to be 20-30 years of age with three sons five years old or younger. The 1840 Crittenden County, Arkansas census shows the addition of three daughters, one is five years old or younger and the other two are 10 years old or younger. An 1842 Wills and Administration letter shows Blaney H. Stanley died on January 29, 1842. Ann Stanley was appointed administrator February 26, 1842. Blaney owed $300.00 to Margaret Galloway and Geo. Underhill.

Blaney Stanley was born 1803 in Darlington SC. and died 29 Jan. 1842 in Crittenden Co., AR. He married Ann Houston.

Children of Blaney and Ann:

1. Leander, never married, died young.

2. John married Lucinda unknown.

Children: Alice, John, and Mary.

3. David never married, died between 1850 and 1860.

4. Catherine.
